Irena Persky is a health psychologist, wellbeing champion, and change activator. Drawing on over 15 years of experience working in multiple health care and organizational settings, Dr. Persky brings both knowledge and practicality to her work. She's passionate about translating modern science into concrete and effective strategies and incorporating ancient wisdom, common sense, and her professional expertise to create mind-body health and meaningful lives.
Dr. Persky has expertise in program development and evaluation, management and administration. She holds multiple professional and community leadership positions and is a published author in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Persky mentored numerous post-doctoral, graduate, and undergraduate psychology trainees and taught undergraduate psychology courses.
Irena Persky completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago with a concentration in Health Psychology and Associated Research Methods. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Biology from Loyola University Chicago Honors College, Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Persky believes that Treasuring Wellbeing is not a spectator sport, thus she applies mindfulness, stress management, and positive psychology skills in her own life.
